Same problem for me using VLC 0.8.6h + Macbook Pro 2.5GHz running OS X 10.5.4 There was an error message: -extvlcopt It said to add this to the code/address???, which I tried but it didn't work. I am not getting this error code any more though, but still VLC Player stops after 30 seconds. Selecting ...
