This happens to me too. The full screen controls come back up and then go away again about every 20 to 30 seconds when the mouse is not moved. It does not always happen. It is very annoying because it covers some of the video.

Thanks it works now. Is there going to be any changes to the http interface for 0.9.0? I was hoping to be able to control capture devices with it. I want to be able to stream from my tv tuner within my house and be able to change the channel.

I still am unable to open the http interface after adding my ip address or from my laptop after adding its ip address. I also tried turning of my firewall but I still could not open it. I am using Vista, could that be the problem.

127.0.0.1 does not work so I was using the ip adress of my computer assigned by the router which is different and does not work in nightly but does in 0.8.6h. I was talking about changing the .hosts file to allow this address to access the http interface but I do not know anything about .hosts files...

I have the same problem but http://127.0.0.1:8090 in my case (router uses 8080) does not work in 0.8.6 either. I had to use by computers IP address but that is a disabled function in the nightly's. According to the readme file you have to alter the .hosts file but I don't know how to do that.
