So, For adding the jump feature ( and rewind ) we can use RC or Telnet interface. yes? OK! no reply? I tested it personally, I made a MPEG2 Transport stream, then I gave it to LIVE555 example program and it could successfully communicate with aminet. Again i gave the same ts to vlc, and i did all of the needed configurations, i tested my config using another vlc connecting to my first...

VLC for windows uses direct show to get the capture data from 1394 or any other capture source.

As i said i have done this.

The aminet 110 linux version is JFLASH-8.9.0 i think. ( Look, I got it from amino support directly)

and I can do this with any version of vlc with no problem.
