i'd like this as well. a hotkey to show/hide the program would be useful.

i tried 0.8.6d and have yet to encounter any audio problems. hopefully, things stay this way.

is it possible to change the plugin cache location (preferably with a switch of some sort)? i'd like to redirect the cache to a folder of my own choosing. thanks.

sorry, i should have said that i've tried that as well.

i'm having some audio problems with the latest stable version of vlc. the sound will intermittently drop out for a fraction of a second. i've tried all the usual suggestions, e.g., increasing the cache value, changing the audio output type, etc. is there anything else i should try?
