Re: Multiple netword cards - XP

Thanks for the reply. I was after a more high-tech answer though ;-) I'm sure it's possible somehow, I've read some posts from people running VLC under linux, and specifying a network cards as a command line option, I've tried the windows equivalent that I've found, but keep getting an error. I init...

Multiple netword cards - XP

Hi there. First off the technical stuff. I'm using : VLC 0.8.6b. XP - SP3 So... I've streamed quite happily across my network before, with no problems (BIG issues with the new VLC version, so I stick with the older). I've been able to RTP unicast and multicast video with no issues when only using on...

Streaming Directshow

Having a problem streaming DirectShow (i.e streaming what WMP is playing). I select RTP as the output, but there are no options - whereas before I always streamed to a 224.0.0.x address, then everyone tuned ...

Re: Problem streaming current audio

If you have what-u-hear or stereo-mix input in your soundcard mixer, you can stream everything you hear from your PC with VLC. I do indeed have what-u-hear.. I tried that, and wave. but it didn't work. If you could give me the steps you have in mind I'll give it a go. I've just had a though, that i...

Problem streaming current audio

Hi People... I had a bright idea the other day, but either it can't be done, or more likely, I don't know as much as I though I did... Basically I'm trying to get VLC to multicast to my network the audio that is currently being played by windows... i.e: I use a particular program to manage and play ...
