one thing I know about HDMI is that the copy protection scheme "HDCP" is very troublesome. Its so funny how it is listed as a feature on video display cards. It is a real pain in the ass. I am using a Matrox MXO2LE to capture video and I am happy cause VLC can at least see the S-video conn...

Well I guess I will reply to my own post seeings no one else seems to be interested. I found an alternative to VideoLan of course I would have to pay through the nose. Here is the site: http://www.clipstream.com These guys have lots of corporate customers I believe therefore are getting the big buck...
