have the same problem with the new 1.0.2 for mac intel, downloaded the older version the 0.9.something for 10.4 and everything works fine -.-

my cmop is really slow (eMac G4 700mhz, 768mb SDRAM, 32mb video ram) and i always get the error saying computer too slow, so it there a way with vlc to kill quality and get max performance? im sure there is but i get lost in the preferences window
