I have the same problem with playing tv streams.
I test with several streams and see that the strength of the effect depends on the used codec.
start/stop actions didn't take any effect.

the messages i get after a while are:

PTS is out of range, dropping buffer
output PTS is out of range, clearing out
input PTS is out of range, trashing
output date isn't PTS date, requesting resampling

the count of getting these messages increases slightly until I get several messages per second.

hi, if i'm playing a multicast stream for 3 or 4 houres the player will begin to slow down unit the video completly stagnate. Restarting the Stream fixes the Problem for the next 3 houres. Increasing the cache value in the udp access modul will protracting this. (500ms ~ 4-5 houres, 800ms ~ 5-6 hour...

When I run this, I get an COleDispatch Exception, so I think the variable "fullscreen" is unknown.

Hello,

i want to use the vlc player on a system with low memory. when i start a multicast stream the player use about 10MB and the video runs fine, but within the first 30 seconds the memory usage will grow up to 30MB.

is there a way to keep the memory usage low?

I use the Webbrowser control in a MFC app. if I load a website that contains the vlc plugin the app will hang up.

not using mfc works.

anybody an idea?
