Re: Possibility to move VLC window by dragging video screen

I definitely vote for this (and for pausing the video by clicking on the screen to be default like MPC).

Re: "Starting VLC With Equalizer On" Option

This might be a bug. There's a checkbox "write changes to config" that records whether the "Enable" button is checked, but not the values the equalizer is set to. There are other options in the Adjustments and Effects window that don't work like you would expect. The checkboxes i...

Re: More Speed Control

I think the cleanest way to do speed control would be to add another toolbar button to VLC (in the interface customizer); this button would pop up a slider bar with 1x speed in the middle, 0 (paused) on the left, and the maximum playback speed (10x?) on the right. Dragging the slider left would slow...

Re: Fullscrn lags with semi-transparent control window at bo

Open Preferences, hit the "All" radiobox in the bottom left.

Go to Interface>Main Interfaces>QT

Look for "Fullscreen controller opacity between 0.1 and 1". By default it is 0.8, set it to 1.

Re: 64-bit VLC?

There already builds for it, QT4 interface just doesn't work currently in 64 bit and that is why the 64 bit VLC isn't shared via download section. http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win64/ Are you using this version of QT that's built for mingw-w64? http://qt.gitorious.org/qt/qt-mingw-w64-qt/archi...

Re: 64bit VLC

Now that we have officially supported 64-bit builds of Firefox, IE9, Flash, and java, it would be great to have 64-bit VLC. I don't even particularly care about having the full VLC 64-bit, I would just like a 64-bit plugin for Firefox 64-bit (or even something like nspluginwrapper ported to windows)...

VLC 1.0.6 and Windows Binaries on mirrors

First off, this isn't related to actually using VLC, or installing it, or running it, nor is it a request for binaries to be released. I have a small batch file which uses wget to download updates for all the software I use on a day to day basis (including VLC). My line for VLC looks like this: wget...

Re: What's the simplest way to remove overscan?

Sorry to bump an old topic, but try using --filter=crop:deinterlace I've been trying to fix what I think is overscan when watching video files in VLC (a broken bar of white/gray a few pixels tall flashes rapidly when video is playing, flashes slowly when paused). When enabling both crop and deinterl...
