so much for a support forum

on my work mac if i do Command I i see 3 tabs in the window that pops up
General, Advanced Infomation, Statistics

but if i do the same thing on my home mac the Stats tab is missing?

someone has to know how to fix this.

but it doesnt bring it up

I have a feeling vlc is dropping frames with 720p files but in order to troubleshoot i need to see it that way as 1 frame dropped is hard to tell if its a encoding issue or network/hdd issue.

thanks for the reply... i have figured it out what is causing the issue.... The video_ts files are now on a networked hard drive, if its on the local HDD it loads almost instantly. However, apple's dvd player will play it instantly over the network. Also, if its a MKV file, VLC will load and play it...

i use vlc to play video_ts folders i drag the folder into the playlist window and hit play and it sits there for about 10-15 seconds before it starts to play. it USED to play almost instantly....(this is for files on the local hdd as well as the network drive) If i launch it via the apple dvd player...

Can we PLEASE get play and quit added to the options? we have play and stop and play random. Im using the mac mini as a HTPC, and with dvdpedia which launches vlc to play the dvd. I'd really like vlc to quit after its done playing so it goes back to dvdpedia. What I've been doing it creating playlis...

it only crashes on exit if im using remote buddy to quit VLC i can appleQ and be fine. or use the mouse and quit it and its fine. but as soon as i quit vlc using the remote via remote buddy it comes up with a beachball, white screen and then crashes. using 10.5.2, the latest version of VLC and remot...
