Re: Aspect Ratio Problems!

Thanks for the good tip. Disabling overlay video really helped and now can see the movie all the way to the top and bottom. Appreciate your help.

Re: Aspect Ratio Problems!

I was wrong and it does happen when I use different media player's. it's only when you try and expand the movie to the entire screen. Could it be the movie, rather than what device I am playing it on that's the problem. I have never had this problem prior to now. Ideas?

Re: Aspect Ratio Problems!

I took a picture with Vista's snipping Tool and uploaded it to Imageshack. The link is http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/3138/captureciw.jpg You can see a small strip of black at the top and bottom where it is cut off. Never use to have that problem. I have tried it on different computer's playing VLC ...

I tried changing the aspect ratio to 16:9, but that didn't work. I tried reinstalling VLC again, did not fix it. When I burn the movie...

Re: No sound coming through!

I don't really want to use nightly buids, when I have a prefect working version of VLC(almost perfect). Tried everything to get the file to work with sound and no luck. I think I will just keep it in Windows Media Player. It's a pity, because I don't think WMP has the same audio/video quality as VLC...

Re: No sound coming through!

Arite, I tried to do the Virtual Dub again on the original file, but had no luck. Not sure how you are able to make it come through with sound. I can play it with sound on Windows Media Player, but VLC usually has better quality audio and video. Could there be something in the settings that needs to...

I have tried to use virtualdub to correct the problem, but with no luck. My wife's computer has the same file dowloaded and that is fine using windows media player. The f...
