This is not supported.
What do you mean by "not supported"? That it is not "officially" suported or that it is impossible? And if it is impossible at the moment would it be hard to add (assuming I know C++ but not necesarily VLC source code)?

I'm new to VideoLAN. I tried to stream a film between two systems using the following command vlc -v moonwalk.mpg --sout '#rtp{sdp=rtsp://192.168.2.1:8080/test.sdp}' All is fine when using 0.8.6d, but when I try to use SVN version it doesn't work.
