You cannot vod a DVD anyway, it seeks too slowly.

Well it works pretty good (except sound) when I transcode.

I guess I am stuck...

I noticed that when I broadcast dvd, there is sound and everything works just fine. However, VOD over rtsp doesn't produce sound for some reason. just weird...

I changed audio track to 0, then 1, 2 and 3. I did have sound on the flash intro when set audio track to 0. However, had no sound further on. On 1, 2, 3 no sound at all.

anyone?

hey guys, here is the problem. I try to stream dvd, but I can't here the sound on any of vlc clients. I don't have sound card on my media server. could it be a problem? I do have sound when I stream video files. Thanks

guys, is there any way to save libraries of videos I create for video on demand? whenever I close the program, all video on demand is gone and I need to recreate everything. I use http interface. ha! I love linux It appears that you can open any dir (not just /dev/hdc or whatever...) and even iso as dvd from vlc. choose to open simple dvd, but instead using my actual /dev/whatever, I pointed to my iso, and here we go!

Ok, here is the problem. When I simply play dvd with menus, I can click play on dvd menu and play it. However, when I set dvd with menus to stream (udp broadcast), my server player doesn't show the actually movie and I can't click play on the dvd menu. I can't see anything on the client either.
