I found a previous post talking about the sys language preferences overiding the VLC language preference, or more to point that VLC works with the os setting, So one sol'n is to change the os setting ... obviously overkill and not practical. Due to using Japanese ver win XP, vlc is appearing Japanese, even though I asked for english in the DL procedure.
There is a little english in some sub-menus but pretty scant.
I'm after totally english, can this be remedied ?
