Another question: how can I play MPEG4-channels locally?
This vlc-starting crashes it with Segmentation Fault error:

Thanks for answer :) I don't have have this file (libxvmc_plugin.so) in my vlc codecs directory, and don't have an opinion to test on Fedora8 - in 3-4 days only :( Google search gives me only one link, where has been adviced to use older version (0.8.5) - but for me result was same as for 0.8.6f, 0....
