Burning MOV files to DVD for Playback on HDTV

I am looking for help on taking MOV files burning to DVD so that I can play them on my DVD player and watch on my HDTV. The files are MOV but in 720P (H.264 I think). Will Roxio 10 work? Do I need to buy HD DVD blanks? Is ther such a thing as HD DVD burner (or will any burner do?) If I use HD DVD bl...

This made it better - thanks - but strange - I tried it on a desktop and a laptop and the laptop not as big an improvement as the desktop (both about 4 yrs old). Any other H.264 Tips - specifically .MOV files

MOV from KODAK Camera play OK but not AIPTEK MOV

Does anyone know why .MOV file from a Kodak digital camera plays great on VLC - but a .MOV file taken from new Aiptek GO HD camcorder, the sound plays but the picture continuosly "freezes"?
