Content is interlaced. You have to use some de-interlace filter. I think this goes too far for my knowledge. I don't really know how to do it. I found a de-interlace filter on one of those players, enabled it and still happens, I guess I didn't set it properly. Will wait until VLC does the work for...
It seems I forgot to set verbosity to 2, that's the reason I was getting no error messages at all. Here it is: Windows Vista SP1 (PC Specs at the fisrt post) I'm using VLC 0.9.8a, although I already tried 1.0.0. Messages: It keeps printing until I press Pause. I can't really understand these message...
OK, I googled and found VLC 1.0.0.
Same problem, different process. I open the file and get the first frame instead of a black screen. Time still says 00:00:00/00:00:00.
Good afternoon to everyone. I haven't had any troubles with VLC for some months now, but here I come with a new one I really need to solve. I can play almost any kind of file with VLC, but I have some problems with .ts video files. I have two different files, one of them plays perfectly while the ot...
OK, now it's clear. But I have one last question. What will this change in my remote working system? I mean, will this "unlock" the remote driver and let me use my remote with intelliremote, VLC, and so on? Thanks argb444! P.S: By the way, I found out that I can control both Windows Media ...
I'm in the same boat too, and I have this Express Remote Control and a Logitech Harmony. I can configure the Logitech remote to control my Dell XPS M1530, and the configurator program tells me it's a Media PC. When configured, I can do the same with both remotes controls, so I guess there might be a...
Unfortunetely I don't know how to do that. I thought it was a problem with the file itself, but other players can play the file with no problems at all. It's the first file I have problems with when using VLC, so no a big problem there. Will watch this movie with a different player and will go back ...
You were right, here you have what it says: (Look at the "playing silence", that is what I meant) [...] main debug: thread 4380 (DirectSound Notification Thread) created at priority 15 (directx.c:372) main debug: using audio output module "aout_directx" aout_directx debug: Direct...
I don't say quality fell down a lot, if I watch a movie with VLC and ZPlayer in my computer, quality is more or less the same, no differences.
But if I plug a Full HD TV to my computer (HDMI output), then I see the difference between players.
OK. I can say h.264 decoding is much better now, I tried different movies at points I knew it stopped with 0.86i and now working fine. I can go to any point of the movie with no problems at all. But I found something strange. There is a movie which I can see perfectly, but it shows some audio proble...
OK, it works fine, and lets me do everything I mentioned before, but quality is worse, for sure.
Any solution for this with VLC? (With no quality loss if possible).
I used the search option, and didn't find any thread which would help me at all, so please, excuse me if there is a thread or an existing solution for this. I got no problems at all when playing .mkv 720p, but when playing 1080p I find some issues. For example: 1. I can open and play it, but if a tr...
Hi everyone! I upgraded my OS to Vista Ultimate x64, and I'm having some issues with VLC 0.8.6d. (Nvidia card) If I leave the video output just how it is after a clean installation, video plays very slow and stops once in a while. If I set it to DirectX Output, Vista's Aero turns off and the video p...
