Re: Video device - Change default to screen 2

Check out this link for more info: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=47291 Basically, this feature won't be fixed until VLC 0.9.0. However, just so you know, it's been fixed in the nightly builds so if you need this feature badly, you should go ahead and use the nightly build. Have ...

although now, under preferences -> audio, there's a "a52tospdif' tab and under input / codecs -> audio codecs, there's a tab for a52. Shows they're working on repairing it thankfully

Re: No audio in latest nightly build

15 May Build has same error but it seems to be only with a52 audio files.
still doesn't work for me with video files that use the a52 audio codec. One thing for sure is that the nightly builds don't have the a52 audio codec activated.

Re: No audio in latest nightly build

In the latest build (20080514-0118), it seems like it's just the a52 audio codec that seems to be missing because my other video files now play with audio

Re: No audio in latest nightly build

nah, no messages. It just doesn't play audio. It's also not the file cuz I tried different files and none worked and when I try them w/ Quicktime, it plays perfectly.

Re: Controls GUI Missing on 0.9.0 build of VLC

yep, I think the problem is from the new option "Add Controls to the video window" under the "Interface" tab of "Simple Preferences". That option is new and if deselected, the new controls window shows with the playlist stuff. It now works for me though. What i did was ...

Re: Video device - Change default to screen 2

I don't think the fullscreen displaying on the chosen video device is a bug in VLC 0.8.6E. Actually, that's how it should work. The only reason it seems like a bug now is because the default display is still broken. If that could be fixed, then the fullscreen option would be perfect (at lease for me).

Re: Video device - Change default to screen 2

Using fullscreen on screen 2 now works. However, making screen 2 the default makes absolutely no difference. It always defaulted on screen 1 regardless of what screen option is chosen (i.e. screen -2 to 5). Any hopes for a future 0.8.6d release sometime soon?
