Re: Windows 7 UI, Hotkey capture, media library

3. Open folder
That works to play back files, but I'm trying to get the "media libray populated, which does not work this way IMHO.

Windows 7 UI, Hotkey capture, media library

Three things, that perhaps aren't specific to 1.10-rc... 1. Windows 7 features the window preview for which VLC "copies" the previous-pause/play-next button functionality from WMP 12. These buttons' icons look ugly (white pixels around the play icon, what are the black bars under the previ...

Re: Win64 VLC using mingw-w64

Awesome. Don't know when I'll have the time to dig through all prerequisites and sources though. This is great news indeed.

Re: Win64 VLC using mingw-w64

Cool!

Some questions:
1) is there a source tree that has all the patches/prerequisites so I can test it myself?
2) is there any automated x64 builds available/planned?
3) Is the ffmpeg MMX problem ffmpeg's or mingw-w64's problem?

Thanks

Win64 VLC using mingw-w64

Hi, I would like to help as best I can in getting VLC to build for Windows x64 using the mingw-w64 toolchain. I have recently patched Qt 4.7 for better Win64 compatibility and it works (great) using mingw-w64. I am currently fighting VLC's build system, it can't seem to find my Qt libraries/headers ...

Re: Building 64bit VLC.

Well, even though it might not work as expected, but gcc compiler and toolchain for Windows x64 is here:
mingw-w64.sourceforge.net

and it works quite well actually (eg Qt, ...).

Re: download a x64 version of vlc for my windows vista 64-bi

Awesome news! That means there is already a more or less functional build of x264/VLC done by mingw-w64?

Re: download a x64 version of vlc for my windows vista 64-bi

Has there been internal progress on this issue? The mingw-w64 compiler has come great lengths IMHO, and should be ready for VLC. It even provides a 32-bit to 64-bit cross compiler, so no x64 Windows is needed (for compilation, testing of course is another matter). The mingw-w64 community is very hel...

Re: libdvdcss in MS Player 10/11

I know about anydvd, and I know it's not free. Also, the dvd43 seems to be an application that needs to run before the region code is bypassed. I was wonderen if there was a more basic approach, like a codec or plugin for mp11

libdvdcss in MS Player 10/11

Is it possible to implement libdvdcss systemwide, as in every application that wants to do something with a region encoded dvd, can using libdvdcss?
If the answer to the above question would be no, is there a way to implement it in MS Media Player 11 (as plugin...)?

Thanks
