I prefer to have the video integrated into the interface and the playlist always visible.
Is there I way, how that can be done?

vlc file.avi --input-slave file.dts

If I start VLC like this, I am able to select an additional sound track, but if I select it I won't hear anything. Why? Maybe DTS not supported?
But when I play the .dts file alone in VLC it works without problems.

Is there no option in the GUI?
And how can I set audio-/video-delay?

Hi,

is it possible in VLC to play the video from a video file (.avi, .mov, .mkv, ...) but hear the sound at the same time from a sound track file (.dts, .ac3, ...). How can I do this?
