BTW, the (in retrospect obvious) answer I found was to use FFMpeg with -ss and -t.

BTW, if there are more "native" Linux apps which do this, I'd still be grateful for recommendations, as I often have strange limitations on what I can install on servers...

What program to chop up video?

Hi, I'm looking for a program which lets you say something like, "Chop up this video at 1:30, 14:32 and 16:39, and save the resulting fragments to files." Ideally, it's a Linux/FreeBSD program which doesn't force me to use a rich GUI; I want to provide a list of times and have it work auto...
