I'm also waiting for a build fixing the issue. I tried building it without success. Also the nightly builds haven't been updated since january 4. Maybe there is somebody from the devteam who can give us an idea when we can expect a version with this fix?

Problem has been identified and fixed by the devteam (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=42070&st=0&sk=t&sd ... 30#p135587). We now have to wait for a new build of VLC for the Mac.

No luck and, to be honest, I don't think I will be able to build this on Leopard. I got so many errors probably referring to mixed libraries as 0.8.6d is meant to be build using Tiger and XCode 2.5. Although there is a description on how to build it on Leopard, I doubt that it is complete and tested...

Martin, you can find the loopfilter in Preferences -> Input Codecs -> Other Codecs -> FFmpeg -> Skip the Loop filter voor H.264 decoding. Set this to All.
