having the same problem on a full spec macbook pro on 10.4.11. video/audio will skip every few minutes or so for a period of 1-2 seconds, also when playing files locally. tried all vlc 0.8.6 versions to no avail, tried the hurry up options in the video preferences as well. anyone have a solution to ...
