VLC Version 3.0.18 Vetinari (Apple Silicon) With one (for me important) video the audio comes far too soon, with all other players, it plays fine. Audio delay is set to 0 (default) Any idea what could be the reason? It is MP4 1024 × 576 - converted to 1280 ×720 same delay - ok in other players. I'm ...
There are several threads about audio problems - it appears they were never solved. Specifically, "VLC 2.1.2 sporadic 1-2 sec audio drop out".
I am on 2.2.4 and still have the same problem (Very nice when you are listening to a nice concert).
The problem here is sloppiness; standards are there for a reason. Lower case b stands for bit, upper case B stands for byte.
By the way - not important in the context - m stands for milli- (1/1000), for mega, use M.
Open the video in Quicktime (7 works, I don't know about more recent versions - never tried).
Go to:
Window > Show Movie Properties
Click on Sound Track and choose Extract
In versions 1 of VLC, once you were in full screen mode, a video would open in full screen. This is changed in version 2; even with full screen checked, the next video will open in a normal size window. Is there any way to tell VLC 2.0.1 to open a video in full screen?
You should use your projector only as a full screen device, not as a normal screen. If as an exception, you use the projector as normal screen, change it back before shutting down.
As I said in another thread, since nobody pays for VLC, it is strictly the developer's business and they can do what they want. If somebody doesn't like it, he (or she) is free to get lost.
If you don't like a site, don't go there
Besides, I honestly do not really care about your own problems. I am developing VLC on my free time. Yet this year alone, I received over a hundred insult messages from them. So I stopped caring about the users . I am doing this for fun as a hobby. Fixing your problems happens not to be fun in my o...
Could somebody please help me to find out what is happening? Am I missing an add-on? Your input can't be opened VLC is unable to open the MRL 'mms://a5.l13535610004.c135356.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/5/135356/v0001/reflector:10004?auth=daEcNajc0cvcraBcOdubmatd5dpbddVdjbx-boSBGa-b4-vFxwlDrDulKCn&aif...
On a Mac: Open both videos in Quicktime Player, select all in one and Copy - go to the other one and place the Cursor where you want the joint and Paste.
Of course, both should have the same dimensions or you get surprising results
