Hello,

VLC does not really offer this. What you can do is create a playlist:

- Open the URL in VLC.
- In the playlist's manage menu, select save
- Select a filename

Next times, just open this playlist file instead of opening the URL

Hello, There are not status codes but object ids. Each "thing" in VLC (the core, the playlist, the access, the demuxers, the decoders, audio and video outputs, font rendering engine, streaming engine, http server, ....) is an "object". Each VLC object has an identifier, which is ...

Hello, Both of your points are not yet feasible, and are planned ... for soon. Auto-preparse should be added in 0.8.5, I think, it's quite easy. For playlist "remembering", I can't say, it needs more work, I don't know if I'll be working on it. Other people could do it, too :) Thanks for y...

Hello,

Transcoding will create some delay.

You can compensate it by changing the "file-caching" option for one of the streams "setup XXX option file-caching=XXX"

Default is 300ms, you can make some tests to find out how much delay transcoding creates.

Hello,

You need to transcode the raw audio of the second channel to something that can be muxed in MPEG-TS.

I suggest you use setup channel 2 output #transcode{acodec=mpga}:bridge-in:standard{mux=ts,access=udp,url=239.255.12.43}

Hello,

Yes it is, using "MMSH" as access, "ASFH" as output. You might need to transcode video to "DIV3". You can get more information by searching the forum, that already contains several detailed answers for this question.

Hello,

You can, by going in Preferences->General, and you have a "default stream" box. You need to enter the full path to your playlist there.

We are planning to have a real "remember" feature, but I can't tell you when it will be there.

How did you enable HTTP on the windows box ? Could you please have a look at the messages window of the VLC that has HTTP enabled, to see if any error appear ?

What do you mean by "it does not work" ?

Do you mean nothing more appears in the log after what you pasted ?

Does it happen with all video or only this one ?

Could you try going in preferences, in input/Demuxers and check the "recreate AVI index" box, restart VLC and retry ?

Thanks
