Hello, 192.168.0.255 is the broadcast address. When you send data to it, it is sent to all computers on your lan. This is a MPEG-TS (Transport Stream) file.

This kind of file is rather intended to be streamed on a network than played locally, but VLC can read them.

Please note that VLC is almost the only player that will be able to read it, however.

Try MP1V or MP2V as video codec, mpga as audio codec and MPEG-PS as encapsulation
