looks very interesting just-do-it, i hope the dev can pick up on this :cry: just-do-it , you need to install the redswoosh p2p client, to download from their network. basicly upload a video clip upload.redswoosh.net install the p2p client open vlc, and try to stream that video clip, thats how it sup...

i cant stream video from upload.redswoosh.net when i upload a wmv video and stream it on vlc. i already installed the redswoosh system and have tried to stream wmv on windows media player it works. but not vlc please help

i use
h.264
320 / 240
300bits for video stream

and for storage, h.264

720/ 420

800bitrat

700 mb xvid on h.264 can be compressed to 600 mb to 500 mb h.264 at 500 bitrat looks pretty much like xvid on 800 bitrat encodes :shock:

i think you need to switch on the catche - on network stream when you watch your video. it will be saved where you point. :shock:

tright now p2p streams do not work on vlc media player newest version, due to the p2p files being streamed on localhost , example pplive, or sopcast all play p2p links into http://127.0.0.1:port /file.asf but vlc doesnt understand this. same with my problem with redswoosh p2p network. i really hope ...
