No need anymore, it has been solved in build vlc-0.9.0-svn-20080210-0001-win32 :-)
(fortunately, I had a last check b4 to fill the bug-report :-)

[VLC 0.9] Tray icon isn't removed when closing VLC

Hi, VLC beta 0.9 It's there for few weeks, and it's still present in nightly build vlc-0.9.0-svn-20080208-0000-win32.7z. When closing VLC, the systray icon stay there until whe pass the mouse on it. If we open VLC three time (for exemple), there is 3 icons alongside. Is it ok to report it here, or s...

Well, I open a movie by double-clicking it, and when it's palying I just drag & drop a *.srt or *.sub subtitle file on the cient area of VLC.

According to the change log, it's working since version 8.6a (feature included for ever in bsplayer, very handy :-)

Hi, Pause button (or space bar) works OK until I drag a subs file on VLC, then it doesn't work anymore, and the subs are accumulating (not released) If I call the subs from the open file dialog, then everything is OK.
