Re: Subtitle controls suck

Yes, but it's a lot of gymnastics and quite hoop dance to go through to make it work, and the end result does not play smoothly and is awkward to configure. I dobt any but the most technically adept among us are likely to try this. More problamatic is the current subtitle controls not working gives ...

Re: Subtitle controls suck

I'd like to see this addressed in a future release of VLC Media Player as well as it is otherwise my perferred media player... I was surprised that this works on Media Player Classic Home Cinema but not on VLC Media Player . Perhaps as MPCHC is OSS, the VLCMP Developers can glean some trick or repur...

Lossless APE Audio Support For VLC Media Player

Monkey's Lossless APE Audio format is a free, open source, lossless audio compression format that would seem a perfect addition to the VLC Media Player. Full source code and sample work are available that would appear on the surface to make this a relatively simple addition ot the VLC Media Player;...

APE & Other Oddy Knocky Open Source Codecs/Decodecs

There are several mature and Open Source Codec/Decodec and loss-less audio compression projects like Monkey's Audio that would be nice to see integrated in VLC Media Player to move it even more to the 'All-In-One' solution. I know this is likely a lot of work for someone to implement codecs and audi...
