MTS files from my Sony HDR-SR7 work with 0.9.0-git. The audio however does not. The audio codec is A52, which is apparently supported, but no luck here on my end. Final Cut Pro plays these files ok. So, I've found an app called Voltaic that will convert AVCHD MTS files to MOV (Apple Intermediate Codec). http://mac1080hd.com It's $30 trial-ware.
