I compiled and tested the latest version from git yesterday.
I noticed that the player just close from time to time when seeking.
I havent looked at the logcat yet. Same behavior on both my TF101 and Galaxy Nexus.

Yep, I see... But upgrading to lenny/sid is'nt aso easy as doing "apt-get upgrade" on my NSLU-2

Go to ./src/libgcrypt, edit Makefile.am, remove the directory "tests" from dist_sources, and do "autoreconf -i".
Go back to contrib tree, and make again.
It worked for me.

I was wondering if someone could suggest what are the ./configure options to disable/suppress the video stuffs. Dear, I plan to use a 200MIPS machine (AT91RM9200) running Linux 2.6.x and VLC to stream a lightweight video stream from an USB webcam (320x240x16bpp @15fps max). I'd like to know from VLC experts if that could be achieved with a so slow machine ? Any advices or same experience ? Thank you in advanc...
