Setting VLC web plugin as default in Firefox

Hi, In Firefox, some of the filetype associations have changed from VLC Web Plugin to the Quicktime plugin for me. I want to change them all to VLC. What's the fastest way to do that? I could open the dropdown and click Use Other, but then VLC Web Plugin doesn't appear on the list, so I have to brow...

2.0 rc1 blu-ray playback issue

Hi,

I tried playing Transformers 3 blu-ray with the new 2.0 rc1 and I got this error "This Blu-Ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding, and your system does not have it."

Anyone else encounter this? Is there a fix?

Re: procedure entry point error

I downloaded a nightly (latest one as of this posting) and it works fine now. But when I exit, I get this error:

Besides that, everything is good.

procedure entry point error

When I insert a DVD into my PC, I right click on the drive where the DVD is and click Play with VLC media player. I get this error: http://i36.tinypic.com/rjmm28.jpg and VLC doesn't open. But if I just open VLC and then go to File> Play disc (or something like that) then it works. Anyone know what t...

Re: How to disable Hardware YUV DirectX Output??

I am watching something now and a box like that popped up, and this time it's called "OpenGL Output". I guess there's really no way to stop that box from popping up? What's the reason that box pops up by the way?

Have you tried OpenGL video output?

I'll try with OpenGL video output for a few days. If that doesn't pop up again, then thanks for the help! If not I'll just ask here for help again. :)

Hardware YUV DirectX Output

I was watching something using VLC and a box popped up called "Hardware YUV DirectX Output" with nothing playing in it. When I close that window, the video stops playing and I have to re-open it. I was wondering what that box is all about, how I can get it to not pop up, and why it does po...
