Was wondering whats going on with full-screen controls? any updates? Seek-bar in full screen mode?

Does anybody know if there is a way to bring up a scrolling/seeking/search bar (whatever you want to call it) to see and change the time-position of the video while it is in full screen mode - hopefully with simply by moving the mouse to one of the sides like most other players? Any plug-ins, skins ...
