Play multiple DVD audio streams at once?

A preliminary caution, this is probably going to sound really stupid.... I'm running a film event at my place of work and we're hoping to use a collection of wireless headphones for the audience to listen to the movie's audio, kind of like a 'Silent Disco'. The headphones we have can tune into two s...

Re: Let video automatically play in external monitor/project

I have found the option for selecting which display to use, but unfortunately it seems (at least for me running two monitors off Windows XP) that when the media changes to the next item in a playlist, the fullscreened video will always jump back to the display on which that particular instance of VL...

Re: Force video to fullscreen on extended desktop display??

Moving all of the desktop icons to the internal ('secondary') display and selecting 'auto-hide taskbar' so the external display showed not...

Re: Force video to fullscreen on extended desktop display??

Good idea re. the taskbar dragging; will give it a go as a temp fix - I'd be really surprised if there wasn't a 'proper' fix as well - anybody??

Force video to fullscreen on extended desktop display??

Basically the p...

Autocue Function?

I'd love to be able to use VLC to play the backing tracks for songs we play in my band. What I want to be able to do is have all the tracks in a playlist in order, and then have each one play when we hit a hotkey (like spacebar) and then play all the way through and then move to the next track in th...

How to 'sleep' using Apple Remote from within VLC?

I've searched for an answer to this question to no avail. I'm watching a movie in bed, and I want to go to sleep. I hold the play button on my Apple Remote to sleep my computer, but from within VLC it does nothing. Is there any way to get the 'hold play on the apple remote to sleep your computer' fu...
