As far as I know, Dazzle DVC 100 uses YUY2 chroma, not I420.

v0.8.6 crashes with mosaic subpicture filter

I'm trying to use the mosaic subpicture filter to stream a continuous video via internet. Using 0.8.6f, I have had many problems trying to use it, but I don't have to worry about those anymore...because now VLC just crashes when i bridge a stream into the mosaic: # Background options new bg broadcas...

Re: Mosaic, no audio?

What audio codecs do your FLVs use? Could you paste the full debug output from VLC?
I use v0.8.6 and i have the same problem.

FLVs usually have mp3 audio. Newer ones can have AAC as well.

VLC uses the Live555 media server core, which only supports MPEG 1/2/4 video formats, not h264.

Re: Unable to stream VoD RTSP

Is it a problem with the vlc version - vlc + Fedora5 ?
Any feedback on the matter is welcomed,
Cheers,
Faro

Re: Setting up Video on-Demand

the "-I telnet" switch means you must use telnet to control vlc. if you want to use telnet as an alternate interface (with another main interface) you must use the "--extraintf" switch instead of "-I".
