HI ALL,
AGAIN: A NOVICE QUESTION -
WHEN I QUIT VLC AND THEN RE-START VLC, ALL THE SONGS THAT WERE LISTED IN THE PLAYLIST DISAPPEAR. IS THERE A WAY AROUND THIS, I MEAN A WAY OF KEEPING THE SONGS IN THE PLAYLIST AFTER QUITTTING VLC?

Ah-hah, now I see: FLAC is lossless in sound quality - I hadn't realised that. Same as the original CD. (sorry, still a bit new to all this).

Does that mean they are converted in some way because if they are played as FLAC files doesn't that mean they are compressed? Thanks

I am new to VLC.

If I play FLAC audio files through VLC do they play in compressed quality or are they decompressed and played as decompressed files?
