vlc-help but as i said id let vlc delete old version so why would vlc.exe be running in background ? when i downloaded the installer is that what your saying was running in the background ?

i decided to install it to my d drive and it installed fine..so for some reason it wouldnt install on my c drive..why ?

dj your answer is unhelpful youve not said how i can get other media players to open .mpg files because i want to be able to save .mpg files easily to a folder of my choice. if vlc can save these and i can choose where on my harddrive to do this id still use vlc to open .mpg files ...arent there any...
