I don't think it'll be fixed any time soon as the guys at Videolan are in denial that it is their problem. The eggs will be several layers thick on their faces soon... :) lol! Yeah this problem is getting to be really annoying. I first noticed it after updating from 1.0.5 (Goldeneye) quite some tim...
I can't believe nobody's cracked this yet over a year into its existence. The crackers around the world should be ashamed. I'd try to crack it myself but its beyond my abilities. I tried to do programming but it just wasn't meant to be. :( You gotta admit though, the person who created MMP is a geni...
Its not working for me. Maybe because I'm running the 64 bit version of Windows 7? I can't imagine why that would make a difference though. I assume I'm supposed to copy everything into a text file (or 2) and change the extension(s) to .reg? I did that and it said successfully imported into registry...
I just had the same issue when upgrading to 0.9.6. It looks like the only thing deleted was uninstall.exe. And the uninstall log is empty. I'm running XP SP3 BTW. Another weird thing is I would've never known that this happened if I didn't have VLC open when I was upgrading. It ran the uninsta...
Yeah, why did you guys screw up the playlist? If it ain't broke don't fix it! I added the ID column and sorted by it, saved the playlist, closed it, opened it again, but its still playing in the wrong order. This is in .9.4 BTW. I distincly remember a right-click menu that had a move up or down menu...
Because there isn't universal API for multimonitor environments. Also there are more Mac devs than Windows devs :D You can't put the process of drilling down to DirectX and selecting the monitor there into a script or sub-routine or whatever you call it and make a menu item for it in one of the mai...
Ok but why does the Mac version have the menu item for it and not the Windows version? Does each version have a different group of developers? I'm not complaining anymore I'm just trying to understand why the different versions aren't all on the same page with this. i'd rather keep to topic mate, s...

Good you helped him first. So what about me? I'm SOL until someone gets around to modernizing the Windows version?
I'd love to do it myself but I'm not a programmer. I tried but I sucked at it. Couldn't even do VB.
Is there another way to select which monitor you want to use besides drilling down to DirectX, checking Advanced, refreshing the list and choosing the monitor. That seems like way to much to go through just to choose a monitor.0.0.2 adds one more step making you have to select the All radio button. ...
You don't need a plugin to preview part files with VLC. Just drag them into VLC. In my case I have a shortcut to VLC in my SendTo folder so I just right click on the part file and SendTo VLC.
Apparently there's supposed to be a menu item in the Video menu to choose which display the video will be played on. Its not there for me. I'm only able to switch displays in Preferences/Video/Output Modules/DirectX.
I know this thread is probably on page 6 but I recently installed Linux (PCLinuxOS). I played an HD video in Windows and it was choppy then played it in Linux and it was fine so maybe the problem (at least in some instances) is Windows and not the PC its installed on. I guess that wouldn't matter wi...
Yeah I can't seem to find it either. And no its not User control panel--->Profile--->Edit Account Setttings--->change email? I noticed an Admin had the OP PM him. Apparently you have ask and Admin to change your E-Mail address? I guess you guys are really paranoid about security around here. http://...
