Does VLC just crank up the treble? If its not that I have no clue.

You have to right-click on one of column names that's already there and then Click on ID in the menu that appears.

Is there another way to select which monitor you want to use besides drilling down to DirectX, checking Advanced, refreshing the list and choosing the monitor. You don't need a plugin to preview part files with VLC. Just drag them into VLC. In my case I have a shortcut to VLC in my SendTo folder so I just right click on the part file and SendTo VLC.

Apparently there's supposed to be a menu item in the Video menu to choose which display the video will be played on. Its not there for me. I'm only able to switch displays in Preferences/Video/Output Modules/DirectX.

Well, I have a 2.08 GHZ AMD CPU. Its all pixelated and stuttery in VLC, but in WMP , the audio is just out of sync (no pixelation, slight stuttering).
