Don' t want to sound too optimistic but since 1.0.1 the stuttering has dissapeared , skipping through the timeline is unusually snappy and last but not least - I have the impression that it consumes less cpu than before . Thx to the dev team for the fast reaction

right click on file - Get info - Open with : VLC - Change All
repeat for other file formats

Ive noticed some freezes when playing a lan stream . Once the freezes begin they dont disappear until passing to another stream and going back to the first . 086 didnt behave that way ( playing the same stream for 2 years ) . reinstalled 086 after 094 and then again 094 , so this is specific to 094 ...
