Re: Multciasting with Axis M7001

Hi, Now it makes sense! :) And yes i managed to get it working. Thanks for the reply. I was actually misguided from the moment you mentioned kickstarting mcast with axrtpm protocol. I thought you managed to access the mcast stream, that was started with axrtpm, directly with VLC... Althought how doe...

Re: Multciasting with Axis M7001

If you meant the URL "rtsp://IPaddress:554/axis-media/media.amp", this DOESN't initiate the multicast stream from the cam/encoder.
In order to initiate the multicast stream, one has to use this url: "axrtpm://IPaddress:554/axis-media/media.amp".

Display stream in web interface

How would you display a stream inside the web interface (if that's even possible) ? I successfully connect to the remote location (where VLC is streaming the video and serving HTTP stream) using the VLC as a client on a different location. What I would like is to be able to access the stream from th...

Video Stream Capture

Hi, I've got a DVC-VSR-2402 IP server module. There's very little reference on the internet for this module. Anyways it's hooked up to a CCTV analog camera and it's possible to view the video via integrated web interface. Sadly the web interface uses activeX which means it only works on IE, and ther...
