Re: no rtsp stream vlc-0.9.0 & Suse-10.2

Hello I'm still having a problem with vlc-0.9.0 and openSUSE-10.2 What I did now is I compiled vlc-0.9.0 myself but I am still not able to display a rtsp stream from my AXIS camera. Can anyone tell me which configure options are required for vlc-0.9.0-trunk as well as for ffmpeg? Here is what I did:...

no rtsp stream vlc-0.9.0 & Suse-10.2

Hello I have installed vlc-0.9.0 for my fresh Suse-10.2 installation via rpm from your download.videolan.org server. Two transformations at the same time

Hello

is this right, that two transformations like the following cannot be done in vlc-0.8.6c but only in vlc-0.9.0?

Code: Select all

vlc sample.avi --vout-filter "transform{type=90}:transform{type=hflip}"
Are there any plans of releasing 0.9.0 in the near future?
Thanks
Stefan.

Hi
one more note. The "--zoom" command line option works for me under X but not in a text console!
Thanks Stefan.

cannot disable fullscreen

Hi I'm new to vlc so please forgive any silly questions. I installed vlc on a openSUSE 10.2 sucessfuly. I'm also able to open a rtsp MPEG4 stream in a tty. My problem is that the command line options for scaling and positioning (I tried --width, --height, --zoom, --video-x/y) do not have any affect,...
