Thanks for the reply. It helped a bit with 720p videos, but its still noticeable sometimes. 1080p videos are still really noticeable. Whats weird is that it only does this on my TV, which is connected as a 4th monitor via a 20FT DVI cable, and only happens in full screen mode. I can watch the videos...

Im also using a realtek audio chipset. Downgrading the driver had no effect.

Its the latest driver. The onbroad audio on the evga 680i SLI mobo.

Thanks for a quick reply. The trick ALMOST fixed the problem. The audio is no longer as choppy, but still very noticeable. Anything else I can do to improve it?

Unplayable DTS/Dolby Output via A/52 over S/PDIF

Im having trouble getting VLC to play Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS over the optical output (A/52 over S/PDIF in Audio Device menu). It plays extremely choppy, where it just takes a 0.1s second and loops it for about 2 seconds, then skips ahead, takes another 0.1s segment, and loops it for another 2 seco...
