Overflow of "Demuxed data size" counter

Just checked the Media Information => Statistics page. I notice that the "Demuxed data size" counter shows a negative value. I assume the number has overflowed - perhaps this should be unsigned? Media data size: 304210 KiB Input bitrate: 23068 kb/s Demuxed data size: -522823 KiB Content bi...

Re: 3D MPEG4?

I would imagine a general implementation would be simply to have two video tracks that can either be displayed interleaved or played simultaneously, depending on shutter glass or polarized viewing, but the issue is how the tracks would be identified so players can know when track is which. I don't ...

Re: vlc 1.1.2 stil dont play .ts files

• The file doesn’t want to play at all (this can be an intermittent issue — sometimes the file plays, sometimes it just refuses to). I record a lot of DVB-T broadcasts as MPEG-TS files. Occasionally I'll get one that doesn't play, but will play OK in, e.g. mplayer. I'm wondering whether it's becaus...

Re: 3D/stereoscopic support

Most 3D TVs will accept side by side compressed - this is the common broadcast format, and the original video is in this form. There's a demonstration/trial 3D DVB-T channel broadcast in Australia at the moment. It's 1920x1080 h264 with the left and right frames side by side. (I assume a 3D TV doub...

Re: VLC 1.1.0-pre1 build

1) VLC deadlocks (hangs) when exiting VLC in fullscreen mode via the context menu.
1) Ok.
I get this as well if a full screen video finishes because the end of file was reached (no need to use context menu)

Re: Start VLC and playing Capture device automaticly

You could start VLC from a batch file. For example, I use this to watch one TV channel:

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" dvb-t:// :dvb-frequency=177500000 :dvb-bandwidth=7
I guess you'd substitute the appropriate parameters to describe your capture input.

Re: Mpeg-TS playing problem

Here is the first 10 megs of it: http://sportstraining.tripod.com/Sample.zip The audio part of this file is somehow broken with many timestamp errors. Some splitters (WMP, MPC-HC) just don't care about that but some other ones (VLC, Arcsoft) simply refuse to play the file because it's out of specs....
