DXVA causes noise in speakers

Hello,

When DXVA is enabled, a hearable noise appears in speakers. The sound changes when displayed picture changes, it seems it is most prominent when dark picture is displayed.

Any way to eliminate it? Mobo+sound: MSI Z77MA-G45, graphics: MSI R7770-2PMD1GD5

TIA

Re: Win Vista - VLC - DVD's

If you have no other codecs installed, how it is possible that Windows Media Player plays DVD?

Re: Fast load on Windows

It starts that fast, but DirectX based players (MPC) feel like starting 2-3 times faster. When VLC is run to watch a movie or a tv program, it doesn't matter much. But I just take a look at 10-20 files a day, often playing just a 10 sec worth of content. In such use scenario, my user experience suff...

Fast load on Windows

Windows.
VLC startup is relatively long. Would it be possible to load VLC with some minimal number of components (configurable) and load any other when it is actually needed?

Assign hotkey to Always On Top

Please assign a hotkey to Video> Always On Top item. I often switch this item and using menu option is inconvenient.

Problems in Polish translation

This post is in Polish, as it refers to language problems with translation and I think it would be nonsensical to discuss Polish language issues in English. Na podstawie nightly 2007.07.16: 1. Okno Lista odtwarzania, menu Pokarz obiekty- no jak rany... za co je karać... 2. Okno Lista odtwarzania>Pok...

Re: Disabling skin & fullscreen GUI

Preferences, Interface, Main Interfaces from the pull down select "wxWidgets interface module" then press Save and close the player.
That works, thank you :)

Re: Disabling skin & fullscreen GUI

To disable the skin it's probably better to go though the start menu: Start > All Programs > VideoLAN > Quick Settings > Interface > Set main interface to wxWidgets (default) :o That's definitely to improve, especially because there's also ZIP version (I use). I guess I will wipe whole VLC director...

Disabling skin & fullscreen GUI

Hello!

I am using Windows VLC, but I believe my problems are universal.

I don't know how to do two things:
- disable skinning once it has been turned on (ie. return to OS native interface)
- enable some kind of GUI in fullscreen (something like in Media Player Classic would be perfect).

TIA,
X.
