Wow! This is a messed up Mux. VLC reads and reports what is in the header of the file and in the order it was Multiplexed. Unlike what was suggested here, the audio will take the order of the Mux. The first Audio Track reported = 0, the Second Audio Track = 1 and so on. :? :?: :?: I don't understan...

If you have the latest version of VLC you should be able to select "DVD" instead of "DVD (Menus)" when you press the "Play" button.
Can you do this if you have the DVD ripped to your computer and select play files (directory) or whatever?

How do I tell which audio track I am on (DTS, AC3, etc)?

When I right click and goto Audio Track, it says only English Enlish Spanish English

One will be like DTS 5.1, one AC3 5.1, one usually 2.0 etc

but how do I tell for sure which track is which? It only says the language and I can't seem to find any more details anywhere
