I have my taskbar set to auto hide in Windows, but VLC raises this taskbar every time the video loops.

I know 3.x has a setting for this, but 2.x doesn't seem to have it.

In Windows, I often use the taskband feature of Windows Media Player to look at movies while I work or do other things. I miss that in OS X since Quicktime doesn't play many formats.

Not sure where I should post this, but unlike the Windows version, I can't double click to get out of full screen, which is a serious fault, imo... (I'm also lacking the right-click menu in fullscreen, but that's perhaps done on purpose because it is OS X.)

To automatically load AND display subtitles I set 'Subtitle' setting to '0' instead of '-1'.

I don't get subtitles to display either. Where do you change this setting?
