i tried that as well and came to the conclusion that the http interface doesn't work...
or at least the description is wrong, incomplete or whatever.

maybe i'm just too dumb :oops: i'm trying to create a shutdown.html that does a shutdown. after i read the user's guide i thought it was simple. just create a web page and put in <vlc id="control" param1="shutdown" /> so, just to try that i went into ..admin/index.html and put in...
