Which OS/sound hardware did you test with? If Windows, did you add anything to the audio drivers library?

Actually, I think it would be even cooler, to have a cache that has some history in it, so slow forward/pause/slow rewind could be seamless to network lag.

It seems to me that the cache should always read ahead as fast as it can until full, for any input module, and not matter if the user presses pause or not.
