Hi, I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and vlc nightly (20080726). Hi guys,
I watch TV with VLC and some channels have black borders like this :
So is it possible to crop them ?
I tried the crop filter but it changes nothing.

I tried to change the subtitles render in 0.9, but it only changed the render of .a s s subtitles.
Is it possible to have the same render which is much better than the older !

I think the subtitles render isn't very good on vlc :
Whereas mplayer is really good :
