Re: default screen size problem

its still a bit of guess work isnt it. because how wide is -1 ? what should i change it to so it fits the width of my monitor? wouldnt it just be easier if you could set a default resolution size.

default screen size problem

Whenever I open a video by default the viewing screen is small.. This isn't really a problem because I can just use my mouse to expand it. But when I put videos in a playlist I notice that the next video in the playlist will open up in a shrunk window. Then I have to get up and expand it again with ...

When the next video in the playlist starts, the video screen changes from the size of the first one i had open. so in other words when i run a video and drag the viewing area to fill my monitor except for a bit at the bottom to use instant messengers, the next video comes on autmatically but the scr...

I suppose there could be a 3 but it seems unlikely considering the way you describe the issue and that is that you are overclocking the CPU or video card. If you dont know what the issue is just refrain from replying with comments that imply I am stupid and i dont know what im doing, who do you thi...

Ok . so I turned of increase cpu priority in the options and selected direct X video output. Cpu usage fluctuates from 10 -22% for video lan and the video is still laggy. I understand perfectly the difference between the drivers. I have the up to date graphics card drivers NVIDIA 6800 gt PCI express...

Yup video card drivers very new, only updated a few weeks ago. Ill check the cpu usage. but i cant see that being an issue on an amd 3200 64 bit processor.

BTW like i said it works on bsplayer and also media player classic, so surely it must be a video lan problem?

laggy dvd movies

Whether from the disk or a folder. they are very laggy. updated to latest version today, cleared cache and preferences, why is this happening? bs player runs fine with the same video. although i hate bs player, unable to make the display brighter.

Where are the loop filter options? because its not under "FILTERS"

I turned an option on to increase cpu priority and that improved it, more than twice as good as it was before, but its still not very watchable.
